International House Sydney
New South Wales | Commercial Building

International House Sydney, designed by architects from Tzannes and Associates, is Australia's first commercial office building to use engineered timber as its primary material – Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and Glue Laminated Timber (Glulam).
Among the energy-efficient design elements are electric instantaneous hot water units by STIEBEL ELTRON. Compact and space-saving, electric instantaneous water heaters can be conveniently placed close to the location of where hot water is required. Decentralised water heating in multi-residential and commercial buildings can save energy from heat loss and water wastage.
Located at the entrance of Barangaroo, the building has a 6 Star Green Star for Office Design and is targeting the same As Built rating.
