In 1949 Stiebel Eltron launched the first hydraulic instantaneous water heater - this new generation of water heater was called the DH 18. During this time Stiebel Eltron became synonymous with hot water generation. Innovative water heaters from Stiebel Eltron became regular fixtures at trade fairs around the world. Today, Stiebel Eltron continues to develop innovative instantaneous water heaters including the newest single phase electric instantaneous water heater launched in Australia - the DHCE 50 and the DHCE 60 series.
