DEL Plus – the instantaneous water heater for the housing sector
With the DEL Plus, world market leader Stiebel Eltron is presenting a further upgrade of the DEL AU instantaneous water heater. The DEL is particularly popular in multi-residential apartments and low-cost housing where space is a premium and running costs must stay low.
The DEL Plus is the ideal device for decentralised water heating. Featuring a new design and a modernised multifunctional display, the operation of the DEL is now even more convenient. The latest version ensures easy operation in every installation situation. As well as comfort and convenience, energy efficiency has also been improved: the three-stage ECO mode offers maximum energy efficiency. Switching to the new generation of devices is child’s play. Existing drill holes and connections for a previous Stiebel Eltron instantaneous water heater can be used. Available in three sizes (14.5, 19.4 or 28 kW), these instant water heaters utilise sophisticated electronic technology to maintain a hot water delivery temperature not exceeding 50°C, which is compliant with AS3498. This overcomes the need for a separate tempering valve in situations where 50° Celsius hot water is required.
The DEL Plus is equipped with 3i technology which means it permanently monitors the relevant parameters to ensure a constant and precise outlet temperature right up to the maximum output. The outlet temperature remains constant, even with pressure fluctuations in the pipe network.
