Francesca Muskovic chaired a session on the elimination of gas in commercial buildings. Anne Martinelli (ASBEC), Graham Davies (Mirvac) and STIEBEL ELTRON's Thomas Stephenson presented solutions for the energy transition.
Thomas Stephenson highlighted how heat pumps and electric instant water heaters could spearhead the transition from gas, but we need better standards and upskilling of various industries.
The conference was a positive meeting between government and industry to map net-zero and low-cost outcomes for residential and commercial buildings.
